Our boy turns 7!

Our son's wish list for his 7th birthday wasn't too long.  He wanted a trip to Marbles Museum, a party at Chuck-E-Cheese, and more of the same type of gifts he has received before, namely more Legos, another RMC helicopter, more snap circuit upgrade kits, and more Nerf guns.

The first gift he opened game in a gigantic blue sack with gold ribbon (USNA colors!) from Grandma and Grandpa.  Inside was a gift card and the mother of all RMC helicopters.  This one even included a robotic enemy base with which the fighter RMC does battle.  He's the talk of the neighborhood now.
Then after a dinner of his choice, he opened the last two circuit kits to complete the series from us.  I love to watch our aspiring engineer build radios and other cool devices with these kits.
This kit includes solar cells and enough equipment to build a mini power generator.
While he opened his gifts, we all watched...except for the bunny who looked away.
Before long, Bun-Bun had found a cozy spot to nestle on the recliner.

Here are few photos from his party:

I totally forgot to take pics of him opening all his gifts from family and friends at the party, but he got everything he wanted.  Special thanks to Nana and Pops for driving all that way to bring the youngest cousin and gifts from family, and to attend his party at such a loud and overstimulating venue.  When our daughter insisted on having a party here years ago, I promised myself it would be the last time, but kids this age just love it, so how could I not say "yes" when he asked to have his party here this year, especially when there is no room to host a party in our apartment?
