I began calling our bunny buck "Alpha" because despite his neutering procedure, which ended up being massive surgery for our manly bunny, he still exerts his authority over all of us and continues to claim our home as his own.
The top of the sofa was his favorite place to claim as his throne in the apartment,
but he also enjoyed reclining beside my elliptical machine....until I started that baby up, and he went flying.
I have also found him sneaking onto my laptop. I now have four missing keys and need to replace the whole thing. He's a costly pet after all.
He was energetic during his youth but is lazier and clingier now. When I do my home workouts, he insists on reclining right up under me. When I'm doing push-ups, downward dogs, planks, etc. he is always there under or on top of me in the way. He even tickles my ears with his nose and whiskers when I'm trying to stretch. When I use the balance ball, he's either under it or on top of it.
But when I suggest he join me for some ab exercises to tone that too big belly of his, he tries to hide.
He does enjoy piggy back rides, and our girl likes knowing that bunny has her back!

In the apartment, I kept counting down the days until I could put
him back outside in a hutch so that I did not have to sweep the hay,
poop balls, and fur he somehow managed to get all over the place. It
must have ended up in the HVAC system because it was everywhere. To keep
the hay at bay, we pushed his cage outside during his feedings and to
give him some stretching exercises, we placed his hay on top of his
cage. Perhaps this wasn't the kindest method of feeding him, but he was
so cute to watch as he ate his hay this way, usually with his front
paws crossed.
We still use the trance position on our bunny to keep him calm during grooming. But last time our daughter tried that maneuver, he fell asleep and started snoring.
Since our new home is a certified green home, we thought we would convert our lawn equipment to green technology as well. This mower cuts and fertilizes at the same time, but like a lot of green technology, it's slow and not always reliable. (Credit: http://cheezburger.com/
