Our daughter had the privilege of performing in a fabulous play based on the classic novel,
The Little Princess, through a summer drama camp offered through her school. The play was a fundraiser for the drama team to go to London next summer. The professionalism and relentless effort put into this play by the students at that school was impressive indeed. It was also a great opportunity for our daughter to meet other creative drama queens and kings of all ages at the school. (Gift #655)
I thoroughly enjoyed both productions of the show. She played the role of Ermengarde, the main character's best friend, so she had a lot of lines to memorize. She was thrilled to have Nana and Pops, Grandma Susan, her parents and brother all come support her during her shows. (Gift #656) We celebrated at the eatery of her choice after each show. She chose Dairy Queen both nights.
