Road Trip (Part 3): Wet and Wild

When we woke up early on the third day of our trip, rain was pouring, and the forecast called for rain all day.  So, we did what any other family would do who had already spent a fortune on Disney tickets that had to used that day and went to Disney World anyway.

We visited Animal Kingdom where we spent the entire morning sopping wet.  The rain did finally stop later on that afternoon.  When our clothes had finally dried, we came across Kali Falls, the ride whose tag line is, "You will get wet. You may get soaked."  I told the other family members that I had ridden this ride dozens of times in years past without getting very wet at all.  As you might guess, shortly after we boarded, my husband and I got completely drenched.  We were sopping wet yet again and never completed dried out until we changed clothes back at the condo later that evening.

The kids really enjoyed trading pins.

 

I loved capturing facial expressions with my camera as the family came down this mountain.

Our daughter could not wait to ride this roller coaster, but once was enough for her....for a lifetime!
