Country Christmas Bookends

One of the first Christmas gifts I received this year was very unexpected..  My husband gave me a country Christmas music collection.  We love Christmas music, and our music room is filled with Christmas CDs by Christian artists and classical Christmas orchestrations, but we did not have any country music.  It's not that we don't like country music, we just don't prefer it (unless Scotty McCreery is singing in which case I do prefer it).

I have really enjoyed the CD collection, and it has proved to be an especially valuable asset in our weight room where I sometimes find myself curling barbells and doing the Texas two-step at the same time.

Then over New Year's weekend, we received some belated Christmas gifts with a country theme.

I've decided country isn't so bad after all, especially when I'm wearing those boots while doing the two-step or riding horses with my horse loving family!
