Spa Party for her 9th Birthday

"The days are long, but the years are short."

It seems like just yesterday that our daughter looked like this:

I have tried to continue the tradition my mother started with me by throwing my daughter a big birthday party every year.  My heart's desire is that she and her friends will remember our home as being a fun, hospitable place where they will want to spend more time.  This year, she wanted a spa themed party.  While spas are typically not my thing, I was so excited for this party that I had turned the house into a full service spa a week before the party was to begin. The night before the party, I had nothing left to do, so I worked on our tax returns instead.  How crazy is that?

My husband's task for the party was to take pictures, so I knew I would end up with hundreds of pictures to edit and weed out.  However, I had a hard time deleting any of them, so the rest of this post will be filled with layouts I made for my daughter's scrapbook to display so many of those pictures.
