We are really enjoying our mother/daughter "coming of age" Bible study based on Life Lessons from the Princess's Kiss. In November, we had a fabulous discussion about God's love and the ways he has uniquely gifted each of our girls with special talents and traits to be used for His glory. The girls made magnet crafts, and we all stuffed 30 shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child projects.
Our December meeting got moved to a different house the night before due to sickness in the house. Then the day of the meeting we moved it again to our house due to more sickness. The flu is running rampant in our school this month. I was proud of myself for being so chill about having last minute company. My kids will tell you my low key attitude was a Christmas miracle. (Gift #838)
We talked about the greatest gift, Christ the savior, and how to effectively share the gospel with others. Muffin was the main attraction. When ten tween girls see a wall of mirrors (in our exercise room), they can't help but strike a pose. The cupcake ornament craft was really cute, and the feast of Christmas goodies was delicious.
This group of girls and like minded moms who strive to raise their children in the ways of the Lord have been such a precious gift to us. (Gift #839)
