Happy Birthday!

I know I've embarrassed my husband enough with our love story series, but I couldn't let his birthday go by without some acknowledgement.  I am forever thankful to the Lord for this man.  He was born exactly 3 weeks before me but in a hospital over 1100 miles away from my birthplace.

I'm so thankful for God's clear hand in bringing us together across that great distance and for the beautiful love we share.

I praise God for the precious children He has placed into our care, and for the way they reflect their earthly father and are beginning to reflect their heavenly Father.

Since my husband has been using the Hundred Push-ups iPhone app, my brother's family thought these push-up bars would make a suitable gift.   I'm glad he shares them with me.

98, 99, 100!

We have four March birthdays in my immediate family and five on his side.  So, we've enjoyed lots of birthday cake, brownies, cheesecake, and cookies this month!  We celebrated at my my parents' this past weekend, and our nuclear family will celebrate again tonight with dinner out and some Coca Cola decadent chocolate cake.

The two guys in this photo share the same birthday.  Our niece's birthday was our daughter's due date.
