I took the kids with me to a hair appointment yesterday. The plan was that my husband would meet us there on his way home from work and take them home. He was running late, so the kids played with some toys while my hairdresser began the foiling process. This process temporarily puts the hair into a bizarre, electric, punk rock hairstyle. When my kids looked away from their toys long enough to see me, they stared with bewilderment. My daughter laughed and asked me to style her hair like that for the next Crazy Hair Night at AWANA.
My son, however, simply pointed and laughed. His laughter and hand gestures were almost identical to those captured in this video from December 2008 when he first saw my new funny looking orthopedic chair. Fast forward to 22 seconds to go directly to the laughter. I got the exact same response from him yesterday.
