Immediately after I published a blog post about my right-brained daughter and her wild imagination, my son (totally unaware of the blog post) told me, "Mom, you need to pretend more."

While trying to collect enough money to buy some new Legos, my son asked me, "How much money does God have?" I tried to explain to him that God owns EVERYTHING, but He has entrusted each of us with the responsibility of taking care of some of His possessions. God expects mankind to be good stewards over the earth.
My son replied, "Stewards? Do you mean like Stuart Little on Netflix?"
"Well, not exactly!" I responded.

As we were leaving church today, our daughter complained about her nose, saying that the outside of her nose really hurt. So, my husband asked her if she had a pimple on her nose. Then the kids asked him to define the word "pimple." After he had humorously defined the word, our 4-year announced loudly for all in the parking lot to hear, "My sister has a nipple on her nose!"
"That would be 'pimple', not 'nipple'!" was my embarrassed response.
