Thanksgiving Celebrations

On the last day of school before Thanksgiving break, I helped out in my daughter's class.  I just love her teacher and enjoyed the opportunity to get to know the other students better.  They made Thankful pumpkins and did a Thanksgiving related research project.

Our son's class made Thanksgiving place mats, place cards, cute turkeys, thankful mobiles and other little crafts.
The school held a fabulous Thanksgiving feast that day followed by a praise and worship assembly.
Our Thanksgiving tradition is to travel to my aunt and uncle's house on Thanksgiving Day to share a fabulous meal with my family.  My aunt and uncle just adopted two new cats so the kids had a blast chasing the cats and playing on the cats' equipment in the basement.

Our son salivated over the ham but at a hefty portion of most of the meal options.  It was a delicious meal and sweet time together.
