School Fall Festival 2012

Last Friday, our kids' school hosted a free fall festival for students, families, and the local community.  Our kids wore their Adventures in Narnia costumes.  I ran the "Fun Fall Photos" booth but did not get many guests since I was inside, and all the excitement was outside.  As a fundraiser, the school sold tickets to throw balls at the dunking booth.  Most of the teachers took turns in the dunking booth seat, so it was fun to watch them all get soaked by students.  The hayride was also very popular, and that trailer filled with hay and costumed kids seemed as though it must have set hayride speed records that night.

I especially liked the teachers' costumes.  They all wore hot pink "super teacher" capes with each teacher choosing unique ways to accessorize and complement her cape.  Our daughter's teacher chose a hippy diva super teacher theme for her costume  She gave her cape a fringed edging and wore pink extensions in her braided hair, extra long pink eyelashes, pink furry slippers, her husband's class ring, and lots of beaded necklaces. Our son's teacher went with more of an eclectic look.  She trimmed her cape with a feather boa and added foam letters and lots of jewels to her cape while wearing hot pink overalls as her super suit.

Here are a few pages I created for each kid's scrapbook.
