To everyone else, "Hope you had an awesome, enjoyable Autumnal Equinox!"
The first day of the autumn season was simply beautiful where we live. The temperature stayed mild all weekend. The skies were clear, and a soft breeze soothed and refreshed my weary, sleep-deprived body.
We spent much of the day outside enjoying the wonderful weather. We also met our community group friends at a large, heavily-wooded state park. There, we did some hiking, took in the scenic views, grilled out for dinner, and watched the kids play around and fall into the creek. It was a great start to my favorite season of the year.
