Y-Princesses meet the Boy Scouts

The third year of Y-Princess activities has begun for the Ferocious Fireflies. They kicked off the new season with a four mile hiking adventure followed by a night of camping.  Our daughter was so excited about the the camping trip that I could not get her to focus on her studies at all on the day they were scheduled to depart.  According to Bucking Bronco, Frolicking Foal and the other fireflies were especially amused by the Boy Scout troop at the campsite next to them that evening.  Uh-oh! (I'm glad the other fathers in the tribe have a vast collection of guns.)   Y-Princess outings were some of my favorite childhood memories, and they are proving to be the same for my daughter as well.
