I have some explaining to do

My son asked me a question yesterday that I knew only my encyclopedia head husband could answer.  So, I pointed to the office where my husband was working and said to my son, "Go ask your father".

That sweet boy looked up at me with a thoughtful expression and said, "He's not my father!"

"What in the world is he thinking?" I asked myself.

Our 4-year old continued, "He's my Daddy.  God is my Father."
